Redefining Life Through a Neurodivergent Lens
If you’ve spent years masking, overcompensating, or wondering why things feel harder than they should, this is a space to understand yourself, create a safe space and learn to identify what you need.
Neurodivergent Therapy & Support
Support for Late‑Identified and Self‑Identified Neurodivergent Adults
Many people spend years trying to understand why life feels harder than it seems for others. This leads to feelings of guilt, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Many people naturally will push themselves into exhaustion and burnout as they struggle to meet the expectations of a society not built for them.
Whether you have an official diagnosis or not, therapy can help you understand yourself with clarity and compassion. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping you build a life that works with your neurotype.
Neurodivergent Burnout
Burnout develops after years of masking to protect yourself from sensory overwhelm, performative socializing and trying to meet the expectations that have been placed on you. You might feel exhausted, irritable, overwhelmed, or unable to do things that once felt manageable. Often this is described as “hitting a wall”, where even the simplest tasks can take a lot of energy. Together, we explore what’s contributing to your burnout and work toward restoring energy and balance.
Strategies That Fit You
Tired of hearing people tell you just to set an alarm or get a day timer? Or if you were only more organized, then your life would be easier?
Me too! Instead, we will explore tools and strategies that match how your brain works. We look at ways to support your nervous system by reducing sensory overwhelm, creating supportive routines, looking at executive function strategies and helping you communicate your needs to others and set boundaries.

Unmasking and Reconnecting With Yourself
Masking is a coping skill that developed over time to help you blend into your environment. Most people are unaware that they are doing it, as this developed while they were growing up.
Masking can help you cope in the moment, but over time it becomes increasingly difficult, which can lead to exhaustion, dysregulation and disconnection – this is also referred to as burnout. Therapy offers space to understand your masking, explore your authentic self, and practice unmasking in ways that feel safe and supported.
A Space Designed for Neurodivergent Healing
My experience comes from many years of learning, research and personal experience. I offer a gentle, collaborative approach that is paced according to your nervous system. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to seek support—your lived experience is valid, and you deserve a space where you don’t have to hide who you are.
FAQ
What is Neurodivergence?
Neurodivergence is a general term for those with a different neurotype. In simple terms, it just means that your brain works a little differently than the general population, or neurotypical thinkers. This general term covers different diagnoses. ADD, ADHD, Autism, Tourettes, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia and many more.
Why is there a sudden increase in neurodivergent diagnoses?
Scientific research always builds on existing science. Over time, scientists and researchers have noticed certain behaviours attributed to the neurodivergent neurotype to be more common across a broader population.
Early research, unfortunately, was biased towards certain demographics, cultures and genders. The scientific community is now correcting that.
Do I need an official diagnosis to attend therapy?
Not at all. Learning about your neurotype and navigating your environment is something that you can do with support and education. You are the expert in you and your experience. The only time you may need a diagnosis is if you feel that medication may help manage symptoms or if you feel that you need accommodations from your workplace.
Otherwise, we can work together to create an environment that is best suited to you and learn ways to support yourself to get things done!
